Wyoming to California
May, 2006

Heading north, we went to Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area in Wyoming ...

... Grand Teton National Park ...

... and finally Yellowstone National Park where we spent three days just as the southern entrance opened for the season ...

Moving on through Montana and Idaho, we began staying in beautiful remote areas as National Forest campgrounds began opening up.

During the last leg of our trip, our younger son, Peter, joined us from Europe for ten days. Here we are on a cold day at Crater Lake National Park in Oregon.

Heading south, the weather started warming up and Spring was clearly in the air.

We visited Lava Beds National Monument in northern California ...

... several waterfalls along the way ...

... and hiked quite a bit with Peter ...

... until, all of a sudden, our year long RV road trip was over! Here is our faithful friend Ingrid with five months of mail welcoming us back to the "real world"!
