Our Support Team
No trip of this magnitude is ever accomplished alone. We were blessed with the help of several people who deserve recognition and thanks.
First, after dropping us off at the local train station where our trip began, our friend Rebecca looked after our home, our plants, and our mail for the entire time we were gone.
Catrin helped us get our feet on the ground as we were on the way to Aland early in the trip. We even had the opportunity to meet her father!
Nataliya took us under her wing and helped us in countless ways on our overnight train trip to Simferopol, Crimea, and back.
Destina saved us from living the life of the homeless in Skopje, Macedonia, late one night.
Inis helped us get organized when we arrived in Tirana, Albania, not only getting the food supplies we needed but also answering our many confused questions.
Finally, our faithful friend Ingrid picked us up on short notice and got us home safely after our long trip back from Rome.
